HOW TO GET YOUR YELLOW PASSBOOK TO COMPETE AS A MASTER BOXER

To compete as a master boxer you must have a USA Boxing Yellow Masters Boxing passbook. Without it, there is no competing as a master boxer. Things that are required. You must be 35 years of age or older and have no prior professional experience in any combat sport. You must pass a physical and have your doctor clear you as fit to box (Physicals are done yearly).  Those that are 45 years of age and older will also need to pass an exercise EKG. The forms your doctor would need to fill out are linked below. Once your physical is done and you are cleared to box, you need to register with USA Boxing as MASTER BOXER / ATHLETE. Take your time and follow the instructions carefully. When you are done registering you will see the contact information of your Local Boxing Commission and who you have to send the paperwork in to get your passbook. The list of documents you have to send will be listed. This will include, a print out of your registration with USA Boxing, A self-addressed stamped envelope, a copy of your birth certificate or a valid travel passbook, and a copy of your passed physical. Once you send those in, you will normally receive your passbook within 2 to 3 weeks depending on how busy your local boxing commission is. Once you have your yellow masters boxing passbook, you want to staple a copy of your passed physical in your passbook as it will be required when you compete. You are now ready to compete as a master boxer.

USA BOXING has just added a feature where you can now upload your paperwork to your USA Boxing profile. (Birth Certificate, Passed Physical, profile picture) however, you still need to contact your local boxing commission chairperson in order to get your passbook.
