Welcome to the 2024 New Jersey Masters Boxing Sparring Camp held at the Showboat hotel in Atlantic City New Jersey. This a two day event that features training, techniques, and the different approach of sparring and competing. This is a unique camp that features sparring, not only that but sparring with other master boxers. We all know how difficult that can be so this is a great way to gather with other masters, learn and execute in the ring with fellow masters.

A detailed breakdown will be e-mailed to you once you register but here is a quick run down. Both days will begin at 9am and run to 1pm. We will go over a stretching and warm up program that is so important to help avoid injury. Then we will go into offensive and defensive techniques that you can ad and use with your own style. This will include footwork, Head movement, Distance and technique.

Some of the issues master boxers sometimes have is not being able to train or spar as often do to work, location or other obstacles. I will be showing you a way to get the closest thing to sparring that you can get and you can travel with. You have to attend the camp to find out.

Last but not least, sparring. We will be doing a round robin style sparring so you’ll get a chance to spar with all the attending masters. Sparring is controlled and will be at a level that you can handle. Boxing is a contact sport and too often we see a new boxer get hit for the first time and all training goes out the window and it’s survival mode. We want to give you a leg up on the competition by learning how to react when you get hit and apply your training in competition.

Saturday night we will do a group dinner.

TIMES: Saturday and Sunday Start at 9am to 1pm (1 on 1 training with Manny available from 3pm to 6pm)
