SUMMARY:The Doc Doherty Boxing Classic
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the first Annual Doc Doherty Boxing Classic. In memory of one of masters boxing greatest champions\, both in and out of the ring\, this 3 day event will feature top talent from the YOUTH\, SENIOR\, ELITE\, and the MASTERS divisions. This event is for both male and female. All levels are welcome\, Novice\, Sub-Novice and Open. This event is part of The Las Vegas Fight Week featuring different events from all combat sports throughout the week of July 3rd to the 9th. \nThe Doc Doherty Boxing Classic will kick off Friday July 7th with our Youth and Elite boxers competing to advance to the championship bout Saturday July 8th 2023. All bracket winners will be awarded a prestigious Doc Doherty Classic Championship Plaque. We will take the first 200 registered Youth and Elite boxers that will be pre-matched into a 2 day tournament bracket. \nJuly 8th\, it will be the masters division turn to step into the ring and compete to advance to the title bout Sunday July 9th 2023. All bracket winners will be awarded a one of a kind prestigious Doc Doherty Championship belt. We will be taking the first 200 registered master boxers so make sure you register as soon as possible to secure your spot. \nThis event is a USA Boxing Sanctioned event and all rules apply. Youth\, Elite and Master Boxers you must have your physical and USA Boxing passbook up to date in order to compete. Coaches\, you must have your red coaches book up to date with all on-line classes completed such as safesport. There will be no exception.
