SUMMARY:SAN JOSE CA SPARRING CAMP
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 2025 San Jose CA Masters Boxing Sparring Camp. This camp is geared towards helping master boxers be able to spar and network with other master boxers. This is a great get together for all skill level but especially for those who are wanting to compete for the first time. Normally we are the only master boxers in our gym and rarely get to spar with other masters and really see where you are skill wise vs someone else in your age group. Here is your chance to spend a weekend and spar with other masters. “Pick on someone your own age!” lol well here you go. \nWHAT TO EXPECT AT THE CAMP?\nThe camp is 2 days with both days starting at 10am and ending at 2pm. The first hour and a half will consist of stretching and a warm up\, followed by techniques that will help you both in sparring and competition. From footwork and side movement to controlling distance\, counter punching and head movement. We will then take a 15 minute break followed by a light warm up with some sparring drills then what we came for\, Sparring!. \nThe sparring will be a round robin so you will get to spar with all the camp participants. The sparring is controlled and will go to the level of both boxers being comfortable. Train\, Work\, Spar\, Lets go!!!! \nVenue location and more coming soon.
